To maintain Council’s fleet and equipment through a system of servicing, maintenance and repair of heavy earthmoving and light, small plant (mobile and fixed) operated by Council, ensuring fleet down time is kept to a minimum and in good working order so that maximum utilisation of plant is achieved.

Permanent full time

The successful applicant must have a Trade qualification with sound computer skills and proven ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines.

Level 8 – starting at $66,311.40 p.a. plus statutory superannuation. (In a ccordance with the Yorke Peninsula Council Local Government Employees Enter prise Agreement No 6, 2022).

13 weeks

A compulsory pre-employment medical examination must be undertaken.

Maitland Depot, however appointment is to the Council, therefore the successful applicant may be required to undertake duties at other locations.
