The Yorke Peninsula Council is seeking Expressions of Interest from suitably qualified individuals for the appointment of an independent member to Council’s Audit Committee up to 30th November 2020.
The Audit Committee meets at least four (4) times per year in Minlaton, South Australia and is a source of independent advice to the Council and the CEO on finance, governance, risk and audit related matters. The Committee is a statutory committee established under Section 126 of the South Australian Local Government Act 1999 and operates in accordance with its adopted Terms of Reference which are available from Council’s website at www.yorke.sa.gov.au.
A sitting fee and travel reimbursement per meeting will be payable to the successful applicant.
Applicants should highlight their suitability for the role through the provision of a cover letter, resume, referees and any other supporting documents.

Marion Bay Playgroup are hosting a free, community movie night screening ‘Toy Story 4’ on Sunday 5 January 2020. Stock up on refreshments available for purchase, and settle in for the movie commencing at sundown.
