Continuously improve Council’s corporate image and reputation through proactive engagement with the Yorke Peninsula community. Ensure the community is well informed, actively engaged and has an awareness of upcoming community projects and key Council decisions, through the provision of effective communication and engagement. Encourage tourism in the region through effective marketing and coordination of visitor information services.
|Hours||76 hour fortnight (some out of hours work may required)|

Permanent full time
The successful applicant must demonstrated experience in communications, public relations or related field (and/or certificate qualification) and highly developed written and verbal communication skills.
Level 3 – starting at $70,228.08 to $77,422.92 p.a. plus statutory superannuation. (In accordance with the Yorke Peninsula Council Municipal Officers Enterprise Agreement No 5, 2019).

Maitland Office, however appointment is to the Council, therefore the successful applicant may be required to undertake duties at other locations.
