To be an effective team member in Council’s Works section when undertaking Councils maintenance activities in an efficient, productive and safe manner. The incumbent is required to operate plant and machinery whilst undertaking maintenance, parks and gardens activities within areas under the control and management of Council.

Permanent full time

The successful applicant must have a current HR Truck Licence (HC Licence preferred) and experience in operating plant and equipment.

Level 5 – starting at $71,435.47 p.a. plus statutory superannuation. (In accordance with the Yorke Peninsula Council Local Government Employees E nterprise Agreement No 8, 2024).

13 weeks

A compulsory pre-employment medical examination must be undertaken.

Maitland Depot, however appointment is to the Council, therefore the successful applicant may be required to undertake duties at other locations.
