To be an effective team member in Council’s Operations section when undertaking Councils maintenance activities in an efficient, productive and safe manner. The incumbent is require d to operate plant and machinery whilst undertaking maintenance, parks and gardens activities within areas under the control and management of Council.

Permanent full time

The successful applicant must have a current HR Truck Licence (HC Licence preferred) and experience in operating plant and equipment.

Level 5 – starting at $71,435.47 p.a. plus statutory superannuation. (In accordance with the Yorke Peninsula Council Local Government Employees E nterprise Agreement No 8, 2024).

13 weeks

A compulsory pre-employment medical examination must be undertaken.

Yorketown Depot, however appointment is to the Council, therefore the successful applicant may be required to undertake duties at other locations.
