SA Power Networks are holding a public presentation on Monday 22 August, 7:00pm at the Minlaton Town Hall to present on street trees, in particular developing a long-term plan for vegetation management near power lines.

Their approach is to work with councils and townships to get agreement on:

• targeted tree removal and replacement;
• an updated appropriate species list for tree planting under and near power lines;
• a protocol for vegetation management near powerlines; and
• working more collaboratively with councils and stakeholders to deliver improved outcomes.
