Members of the public are invited to attend the following Anzac Day Services commencing promptly at the following locations and times
Ardrossan
Dawn Service at 6.15am, end of First Street on the clifftop at the new Memorial, followed by a breakfast ($5) at the RSL Clubrooms. A march to the memorial will also be conducted with assembly outside Bank SA at 10.30am for a 10.45am step off. Following the march, a service will commence at 11.00am.
Arthurton
Dawn Service at 6.30am at the War Memorial Arch at the Oval, followed by a breakfast at the Clubrooms (gold coin donation).
Bublacowie
Anzac Day and commemoration of 50 years since the end of the Vietnam War. Service at 10.30am in the Memorial Gardens, Bublacowie Museum. Lunch available for purchase. Entertainment by local artists.

MT Push and E-Trike Trial Registration
Yorke Peninsula Leisure Options and Yorke Peninsula Council proudly partner with Yankallila Council and the Legatus Group to undertake a trial of MT Push and E-trike on the Yorke Peninsula, as part of implementing the Open the Door to Nature Project, funded by the Department of Social Services.
1 MT Push and 3 self-propelled eTrikes will be available for trial at:
- Minlaton Caravan Park, 1 Bluff Rd, Minlaton, between 30 September 2022– 4 October 2022
- SYP Minlaton Show, West Terrace, Minlaton, on 5 October 2022
- Marion Bay Caravan Park, 17 Willyama Dr, Marion Bay, on 6-7 October 2022
We thank you for your support in this trial. If you are interested in trailing these facilities, please fill in the form here finish your registration. Please note that, it requires you (or the person on your behalf) to undertake an induction (approximately for 15 to 60 minutes) before the trial. Also, at the completion of the trial, please help to fill in a survey about the experience. Details of these steps will be available on-site at the event.

2021 Yorke on a Fork Food and Wellness Fair
In 2021 we are plating up bigger and better Yorke on a Fork Food and Wellness Fairs.
Following the success of the inaugural event in 2019, and funding from the Drought Communities Program, the event will go from one fair to six, spread across the peninsula.
The fairs will include demonstrations ranging from cooking to pilates, kids’ activities, as well as appearances from celebrity guests, including Callum Hann and Themis from Sprout, the Amazing Drumming Monkeys, Inspector Hector and more!

Unfortunately due to the current COVID-19 situation and health controls handed down by governments, the 2020 YP Art Exhibition will no longer be held this Easter, but is being postponed / rescheduled to Easter 2021.
It is an unprecedented situation and the decision to postpone has not been made lightly, but made in the interest of our community and artists.

Much to our disappointment we must announce that YorKON 2020 has been postponed due to the risks associated with COVID19 and the currently imposed Australian Government restrictions.

YorKon is back bigger and better in 2019!
After the success of last year’s inaugural event, Yorke Peninsula Council has again partnered with Team AvCon and the Copper Coast Table Top Gamers, as well as welcoming new partner Retrospekt, in hosting the YorKon Gaming Convention. Not only will this year’s event have more games, activities and a very exiting special guest appearance that will be out of this world, the event will also be run over 2 days, 27th and 28th April 2019, at the Minlaton Town Hall. The event will run from 11am until 3pm each day with an ages 15+ session to be held on the Saturday evening from 5pm until 9pm.
This event provides the local community, especially our young people and their families, with the unique opportunity to engage in a fun and free social gaming event, involving tournaments, free play and retro gaming, table top games and more during the April School holidays.

The Marion Bay Community are again hosting a free outdoor community movie night on Sunday 6th January 2019.
Bring your deckchair or picnic blanket and enjoy a great night out for the whole family.
