Visitors and locals can now enjoy 360-degree views of some of Yorke Peninsula Council’s water tower murals.
Fenced walking paths now allow access right around murals on the Southern Yorke Peninsula Water Tower Mural Trail.
Visitors can follow the paths to the back of the murals, taking in the full scope of the award-winning artwork.
The murals at Stansbury, Wool Bay, Edithburgh and Yorketown all now have walking paths.
“We offer our sincere thanks and appreciation to the landowners who have allowed us to install these paths,” Mayor Darren Braund said.
“The paths are beneficial for enhancing the visitor experience at the murals as people can now see and photograph the works of art in their entirety.
“The paths also help the landowners by keeping people off of their land and out of their crops, so it is a win-win.
The dolomite paths and fences were designed in consultation with residents where necessary, and constructed using local contractors.
