Please note the following information also provided on the SAPOL Notice of Order:

Pursuant to Section 33 of the Road Traffic Act 1961, an order has been made directing those persons taking part
in the Event on the above roads be exempted from all Australian Road Rules relating to pedestrian behaviour on roads.

The order also mentions that under Section 17 of the Road Traffic Act 1961 that direction is to apply a
Reduced Speed Limit of 25km/h on the following roads:
Main Street, between Sturt Bay Road and Baker Street
Sturt Bay Road, between Fifth and Rachel Streets.
