Port Victoria Progress Association Inc. has submitted a request for Council to endorse their application to the Campervan and Motorhome Club of Australia (CMCA) for Port Victoria to receive ‘RV Friendly Town’ status. It is proposed that RV short term 6 hour parking and overnight parking for a maximum of 96 hours be available at PTL 1, Kuhn Terrace, Port Victoria (being the oval complex) while casual parking only (maximum 6 hours) be available in Main Street and also in the Victoria Street car park, west of the Port Victoria Hotel-Motel.

Prior to endorsement, Council’s RV Friendly Status Guidelines policy states that a public consultation process must be undertaken to ensure community acceptance.
