A permit or ticket is required to launch a boat from Ardrossan, Black Point, Port Vincent, Stansbury, Edithburgh, Point Turton and Port Victoria boat ramps.

Tickets

Tickets are issued for casual single use, and can only be purchased at COIN ONLY ticket machines located at each boat ramp.

Permits

Council offers three types of permits; monthly, annual and professional.

The one month permit for $31 caters for short term visitors.

The annual permit is available to be purchased at a pro rata rate. This permit can be purchased at any time throughout the year, with the fee calculated on the number of months remaining in the financial year (including the month in which the permit is purchased).

Professional permits are required for boat launches relating to business activities and have a similar pricing structure to annual permits.
