At Yorkon this year Galactic Games will be running a special Prerelease event for the card game, Magic the Gathering for the upcoming War of the Spark release.

This will be run between 5pm and 9pm on Saturday the 27th.

Participants will receive a pack that contains everything needed to play in the tournament:

• 6 boosters
• life counters
• promo cards
• At least one Planeswalker

Each player will use the 6 boosters to create their own deck to compete in the tournament.

Special pre-release prizes will be awarded to the victorious players.

The tournament schedule will be:

• 5pm – 5:30  Introduction and Deck Building
• 5:30 – 6:15  Round 1
• 6:20 – 7:05  Round 2
• 7:10 – 7:55  Round 3
• 8:00 – 8:45  Round 4
• 8:50 – 9pm  Final standings and prizes.
