DM Composites will be mobilising to Edithburgh on 24 November 2025 to begin installation of the new Edithburgh Jetty Dive Stairs.
To allow works to be completed safely, the Edithburgh Jetty will be closed from 24 November to 7 December 2025.
This project marks a major milestone for the community, enhancing safety and accessibility for divers and snorkellers while boosting local tourism.
Yorke Peninsula Council secured over $550,000 through the Australian Government’s Growing Regions Program, with additional support from the Edithburgh Progress Association ($10,000) and Council ($236,463) towards the total $788,210 project cost.
Developed in collaboration with the local community and key stakeholders, the dive stairs have been shaped by extensive consultation, including a public co-design workshop held in Edithburgh.
