Yorke Peninsula Council, in partnership with Downer EDI, is pleased to provide an update on the North Coast Road Stage 3 project.
Construction commenced on Monday, 17 March, starting at Point Souttar and progressing 3.7km toward Point Turton.
The project is progressing as planned, with drainage works currently underway, followed by:
- Drainage
- Earthworks
- Pavement construction
- Sealing
- Linemarking & signage installation
Resident Information
Driveway Access – There may be brief interruptions to driveway access. Affected residents will be notified in advance.
Vegetation & Tree Removal – Some vegetation, trees, or plants in front of properties may need to be removed before drainage swale works begin. The project team will coordinate with affected residents.
Property Signs & Canopies – Some property signs and canopies may need to be relocated. The project team will liaise with impacted residents as needed.
Noise Disturbance – Some noise is expected during construction, but every effort will be made to minimise disruption.
Road Closure – The road remains closed to the public, with local access for residents only.
Traffic Management – Residents requiring access through the work zone should contact on-site traffic management or the Site Supervisor.
