Yorke Peninsula Council advises that the Edithburgh Tidal Pool is closed until further notice.

Recent storms and high tides have deposited a significant amount of rocks into the pool, and it has also been affected by the harmful algal bloom currently impacting parts of the coastline.

These conditions have affected its usability and water quality.

Council is monitoring the situation and working towards restoring the pool for public enjoyment.
