Short description | Assisting the Fleet/Workshop Manager in the maintenance of Council’s fleet and equipment through a system of servicing, maintenance and repair of heavy earthmoving and light, small motor plant (mobile and fixed) ensuring fleet down time is kept to a minimum and in good working order so that maximum utilisation of plant is achieved. |
Hours | 76 hour fortnight (some out of hours work may required). |

Applicant requirements | The successful applicant must have a Trade Certificate in Automotive Mechanics and/or Diesel with experience in operating and maintaining plant and equipment. |
Salary | Level 8 – starting at $77,683.38 p.a. plus statutory superannuation. (In accordance with the Yorke Peninsula Council Local Government Employees Enterprise Agreement No 7, 2023). |
Probation period | 13 weeks |

Location | Warooka Depot, however appointment is to the Council, therefore the successful applicant may be required to undertake duties at other locations. |
