Council’s waste, recycling and garden organics collections are managed by Veolia Recycling & Recovery.

Bins are collected as follows:

• red-lidded waste bin – collected weekly
• yellow-lidded recycling bin – collected fortnightly
• green-lidded garden organics bin – collected monthly

Different council areas have their bins collected on different days. To find out the collection days for your area download and print the IS125 Residential Kerbside Collection Calendar or collect a copy from any council offices.

To ensure bins are ready to be collected residents are encouraged to place them out the night before the scheduled collection day.
